BEEFY!

I used this rocket for mt L1 cert. It flew well on an H nicely. Recently flew it on a CTI I285 classic. The simulation said 4800 feet. Needless to say it went out of sight. Luckily it was on the first day of the launch. Someone found it the next day. As I had no tracker in it. This is a very stout rocket. I added a tube in the nosecone for weight and now ejection timer. I flew it after that on an H. There was an issue with ejection delay AT? and it stripped the parachute. It came down and 3 fins popped off. That's it. It will fly again! Could squeeze in a locator. If I were to build it again I would do minimum diameter because it will only hold a 4grain engine. I would like to see it on a 4g 54mm moon burner.

I been in Rocketry since 1969. I've built hundreds of rockets. This is my first all-glass rocket and it is brilliant! It was simple to build and paint. It looks and flies fantastically. It is 100% solid and tough. I'm flying it on full F- motors (F49 and F52). It might do decently on the 24mm F-motors, but won't fly very high. I'm afraid to fly it on any 38mm motor. It's too small for a 38mm motor unless you were flying at Black Rock. This rocket is so cool. I want a 2.6-inch Black Brandt 2 next. I've seen the 2.6-inch Honest John, in kit form, and it looks sweet. And where do I begin with the 2.6-inch Bomarc...
