I've flown mine 7 times on J350 and J500 motors over a 3 year period and used it for my L2 Cert. With a small J it goes up to about 3000' and is visible, mostly. The model is easy to put together and sturdy as well. I have had a few rough landings with fins loosening a bit but these types of things are easy to repair. It needs plenty of weight in the nose for stability though- make sure you end up with 6" or s of distance between CP and CG - I used about 12oz of lead fishing weights and epoxied them in the tip. On a 50" chute it would drift quite a ways- I like to use a smaller one with this model- 36" or so. Use a swivel on the chute or you'll get back a tangle of lines when you retrieve it. The Aerotech 38-720 J500 motor in particular is great with this model- jumps off the pad.
